The Oceanside Generals are entering there 17th season as members of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League. The league has become one of the premier developmental leagues in all of Canada, and the Oceanside Generals have followed that blueprint. The team has captured 2 league Championships and boasts a long list of alumni that have gone on to have successful Junior, College and Pro careers, including Kris Mallette drafted in the third round by the Philadelphia Flyers. Our program strives every year to provide our players with opportunities to move on to the next level and have established very strong relationships with all of the BCHL member teams.
